If you’re using iPage’s WordPress installer, you’ll need to contact their support about this, as we have no control over third-party installers like theirs.

I am installing from WordPress. It goes through the process and say it is installing. Then I get a message that install failed. Couldn’t extract the files.

If you’re going through an installer that is extracting files, that’s a third-party installer provided by iPage, not us.
You’ll need to get in touch with iPage’s support about this, or install WordPress manually following the steps linked to above.
