Footers – how to make them appear one above other

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks. Note: Your link will be public and we will not later remove it.

I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/business-key#new-post so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

I can’t show the page as I have removed the additional footers until I get it right.
I am asking in general terms about footers and how they work, so…

Be default the footers come out like this:

|======================||======================|
|----------------------||----------------------|
|--------Footer-1------||--------Footer-2------|
|----------------------||----------------------|
|======================||======================|

but I want them to be like this:

|==============================================|
|-----------------Footer-1---------------------|-|==============================================|
|==============================================|
|-----------------Footer-2---------------------|
|==============================================|

I just want to understand how footers works. Is what I am asking governed by the theme in use, or can it be altered elsewhere?

If it is more appropriate I will ask in the other forum you suggest.

It’s governed by the theme’s CSS and HTML. It may be possible to get away with just overriding the theme’s CSS. Without seeing your site, I can’t say.

Ok, thanks, I’ll ask on the theme page.
