Are you using an SEO plugin to manage page titles? If so, check its settings. I know that you can set such things via Yoast, for example. If not, check your theme’s settings.
@sterndata I am using “All in one SEO plugin”. But I checked there.
And what theme settings? Can you elaborate.
I don’t know; it depends on your theme.
WRT, all in one seo, I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack/#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
@sterndata I am using twenty-sixteen.
Then it’s not a theme issue.
@sterndata Thanks for the help. Resolved it. You were correct all along. It was a plugin issue.
AIOSEO dev here. This is not a bug.
This is happening because we append the blog name by default after each title (this is something that Google likes and you can control this in the General Settings menu under Title Settings), but you’ve likely left the blog name of your site blank under Settings.
