Since upgrading to WordPress 5.5, Perfect SEO URL has been causing lots of issues within the WordPress admin. From what I can tell:
it is affecting the “Quick Edit” links on all post types (clicking “Quick Edit” does nothing” when Perfect SEO URL is enabled).
It is affecting the links here under the “Publish” block on post edit pages (see image below):
This set of errors in the Chrome console is on every page in the admin area when Perfect SEO URL is enabled (see images below):
I created a brand new site with no other plugins but the basics to make sure it wasn’t just my website. I have Perfect SEO URL on many of the sites I manage and these occurrences are present on all of them.
And then there are a bunch of other little bugs here and there throughout WordPress.
Disabling Perfect SEO URL fixes everything, but disabling Perfect SEO URL has a lot of negative side effects if you have had it set up and running for a long time (SEO issues and crawling issues).
Please see video for more information on what I mean:
If anyone could help me, that would be awesome. I have already contacted Perfect SEO URL, but I have not yet received a response.
Thanks
