I’ve read these instructions but they are pitched a bit higher than my understanding level.
Let’s say I was to create a child theme,
1. Which settings would I change in the child theme and which ones in the parent theme?
2. Once a child theme is activated is it then not possible to make adjustments in the settings within the parent theme?
3. Is using a plugin the best (or rather easiest but still safe and fully functional) means of creating and managing a child theme?
I’ve seen the following which appear to be the most popular and highly rated for the purpose and would be happy to hear which are good or whether there is one I should particularly avoid.
