In the dashboard menu on the left side go to settings->reading . Choose the Static page option and set your homepage and your blog page. If you don’t change this setting, your blog page and front page will be the same page. Don’t edit your theme unless you have created a child theme. WordPress is template based, It select the templated based on the type of data that needed. Editing pages will not effect the order they are displayed. They are templates. Just place holders for the data. If you look you will see different templates page.php, Single.php,Category.php,404.php,archieve.php,and index.php. There could be more or less of these. Don’t edit them. If you edit them and the theme updates you will lose all your changes. Please look at creating a child theme if you need to make edits.
Thanks for your intervention. I had done everything you advised me. But without success. And I installed this Really Simple SSL plugin and everything is working great. I had rather a problem of https (SSL)
