Every fetch from your site has a high TTFB response time. This indicates to me that your server is slow, misconfigured, or overloaded. See https://i.imgur.com/qqVCVzS.png
It does not look like you’re using any caching or optimzation plugins. I like pairing two: Autoptimize and Comet Cache. I’ve also had good results using just the Hummingbird Cache plugin. Caching and optimization should help your site.
Thanks for the reply. I have been using a caching plugin that does help on following loads, but does it help for the initial load as well? I want first time users to load the site in under 3 seconds.
Yes, caching and optimization will help first time visitors.
Even with caching enabled my site still takes 10s to load.

Does this mean that I need a better host?
It could be. What caching plugin are you using?
I’m using WP fastest cache and Autoptimize
I see it but it hasn’t made a whole lot of difference. I’m pretty sure it’s your hosting.
Thanks! I’d be happy to spend more to get better hosting. Do you have a host that you recommend?
I migrated the site over to Cloudways and wowwwww it’s so much faster. 640% faster to be precise.
