I created a widget and attached it to the sidebar. So far, so good, every page shows the sidebar with the widget on the left side, as expected. Now I’ve created a new page and use WP add_shortcode to load it. When shown in WP, the page shows ok, but the the sidebar is blank/gray and nothing shows there. I’ve checked the code and found that the widget-code is not executed. However, it runs OK when I load any other page, also created with add_shortcode. No idea how to track this down, any feedback much appreciated.
