Post Title Colour – On the main Blog page

Hi All

All I need to do is change the text colour on the post titles, on the main blog page where all the posts are displayed. It’s currently white, which is hard to read on most of my background pictures.

I’ve had a good search and tried a lot of custom CSS using the Additional CSS area, some generic and some referring to specific post numbers; but nothing seems to be working for me. I can change the text colour of just about every other text element on the page, from H1s down to the footer.

Anyone able to assist?
