I have two pages with auto-created URL’s. I am trying to change them to relevant URL’s, but all the advice I can find on this forum and other online pages indicate an “edit” button next to the permalink under the page title.
On my page, the permalink is shown above the page title (only when I hover over it) and it only gives me the option of viewing the page via the permalink.
On the documents tab in the block editor, the permalink again can only be viewed, not edited.
Please help me change this URL. Desperate!
EDIT:
I got it fixed! Turns out I had to change my Permalink settings to “post name”. Suddenly all the URL editing options became available, whoop whoop!
