FYI: using the Classic Editor plugin, didn’t notice this until today really. JPEGs are super-compressed in the post. They’re exported at 100% in GIMP.

They look fine in my Media Library too. It doesn’t seem like they’re being shown at their full width (800px) in the post either, but are in the (classic) editor.
I have added the lines to functions.php in my theme’s files to not compress images. I tried replacing them with fresh uploads and they still do not look good.
Do I really have to go back to the Block Editor? Has anyone else had this issue with out without the editor plugin?
