This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.
If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
Hi, thanks for your answers. I don’t have any plug in and I switched to the default twenty twenty theme, but nothing changed. I still have this message : “Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.”
Does your role allow you to edit/create posts?

Yes, I am the main admin.
The thing is, when I go in the “Team” section of my account, I get an error message.
When I connect through the other account (i accidently put my mom as another admin) and I go to the team section of my website, it shows that my account (not my moms) is the main admin. I dont have the same error message I get when I go through my wordpress in “Teams”. Strange !
So I just logged out and then in and now it works !! No idea what happened. Thank you so much for your time ! You’re an angel !
