There could be a few different causes of the Publishing Failed
error in the Block Editor. The new WordPress editing interface relies on the REST API to create, save, and publish posts. In the event that something is blocking or disabling this process on your site, you won’t be able to launch new content.
So, first off, determine Whether the REST API Is Being Blocked. If it is, unblock it.
Hi,
thanks for your answer.
Honestly, I don’t know how to check the status of the REST API but I did two things:
1. I installed the plugin “Disable REST API” (http://www.binarytemplar.com/disable-json-api) and swithed everything on, checked, switched everything off, checked, but no difference.
2. I installed also “WP REST API Controller” (https://www.yikesplugins.com/) did the same as above, but no change at all.
Is there a way to definitly say, its working or not? Health check Plugin says, everything would be ok.
Regards
But still expieriencing the problem.
