My current header is white, the thing is, I have changed it to be black using element or header, footer & blocks. The plugin has not failed me up until this point. I changed the background of the header to be black, I looked on the public page it didn’t show, however when I opened the customizer it showed. I have no idea why. I did not do anything differently as far as I can tell.
