Change hover color top menu

This is the current CSS:

#nav-wrapper .menu li.current-menu-item > a, #nav-wrapper .menu li.current_page_item > a, #nav-wrapper .menu li a:hover {
    color: #00ffc1;

So, pick a different color. I kind of like “darkgreen”.

#nav-wrapper .menu li.current-menu-item > a, #nav-wrapper .menu li.current_page_item > a, #nav-wrapper .menu li a:hover {
    color: darkgreen;

hi Joyce,
4. Je logo heeft als kleur (ongeveer) #129996. Weer iets anders

Vergeet dit – je hebt een ander antwoord

Hi Steve,

Unfortunately that doesnt work.. I have changed this colour about 2 years ago and I have no idea where I did it. I tried custom CSS to override already but without any effect.

I have tried to check my theme CSS and there I also could not find anything. No plug-in either.

Ah it worked by only using this piece of the code:
#nav-wrapper .menu li a:hover {
color: #00ffc1;

It only doesnt take the submenus and the social icons in account and when you click on one of the menu items it also becomes light green still – I need a piece of code of that as well I think?
